There are those who would look at Pippa and say: “It’s impossible for her to build muscle.”
Pippa has zero interest in their opinion.
Pippa has a number of things going for her: she’s very flexible, and actually has a pretty strong core. She can hold a plank position longer than just about anybody. She takes direction well, and she also has a very knowledgeable, patient, supportive, but demanding trainer who makes sure she’s working every single muscle she has.
She’s aware that, for her, building muscle could be an uphill battle. But, like any New Yorker, she’s got grit, and she’s determined to be the best self that she can possibly be.
Pippa is made of my daughter’s old hoodies. Pippa’s own hoodie is also made of one of my daughter’s hoodies. Her ears and nose are made of the same hoodie (is that weird?) Her top is cut from an old bathing suit and is still slightly redolent of chlorine. Her watch is the rubbery lining of a cosmetics bag and a plastic tray, and her shoes are the same lining, a purple mesh potato bag, duct tape, a pink polystyrene tray, and felt.
Pippa works out at Longevity Lab, in NYC (@Longevity_lab_nyc) and takes inspiration from this painting by Lee Romero (@Leeromero23). Thanks to @safeandstronglifestyle.
